With talk about “soul-based tokens” or SBTs and the increasing acknowledgement that some form of identity is required to achieve the dream of truly decentralised finance, it’s worth discussing the actual challenges of decentralised identity that researchers have found over the years, and why it’s not the quick solution that many feel it is.
